When COVID changes everything
The world is just beginning to recover, but a silent revolution is already underway: remote work.
Before the eyes of Paul Hignard and Camille Hautefaye, engineers and entrepreneurs, an obvious truth emerges: large companies are urgently equipping themselves, purchasing millions of headsets to enable their teams to work from home.
Then an idea emerged. Bold. Almost crazy.
What if someone invented a service capable of repairing these helmets on a large scale?
And what if, instead of being thrown away, this equipment became an ecological and economic lever for large French and European companies?
Invent a job that didn't exist
The Labeko adventure begins: disassembly, testing, documentation, parts design, procedures…
And one day, the obvious becomes clear: yes, a headset is repairable.
It's technical, more complex than a phone or a computer, but it's possible.
And this possibility paves the way for a whole new profession.
The word-of-mouth that scales up
Les premiers clients en parlent aux suivants. L’activité décolle.
The team is growing: one person, then two, three... then ten.
2025: a major strategic pivot
In 2025, Labeko makes a decisive turn.
From a model of direct collaboration with clients, the company chooses to rely on a network of reseller partners, adopting an indirect model similar to that of a manufacturer.
Today, Labeko distributes its products and accessories through major market distributors and collaborates with leading French retailers.
A transformation that accelerates its deployment across the entire territory

Labeko today
Born from a post-Covid intuition, Labeko now brings together 17 collaborators and relies on 85 workers with disabilities, employed full-time within our partner ESATs.
A company that has not only invented a service: it has opened a new path for the circular economy in IT.
A question, a project?
